The Unique WIN Advantage
Wireless Information Networks (WIN) is the Nation’s leading provider of indoor Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for Multi-Tenant High Rise Office Buildings in Major Metropolitan Areas. With over 50 years of combined Radio Frequency (RF) engineering, design, deployment and cellular carrier management experience, we can offer a multi-level consulting and management platform to enterprises from 20 to 20,000 employees. With the knowledge we have obtained in over 15 years focused on RF, WIN can overcome any RF obstruction and ensure maximum mobile coverage. As a result we are the only provider that offers a 100% guarantee of ubiquitous coverage in areas designated by the customer.
Understanding Our Customer’s Mobility Needs – Now and For the Future

Prior to starting the Enhanced In-Building Cellular (EIBC) network design process, WIN completes a Needs Analysis with each client. This is conducted to understand the client’s day-to-day mobility needs and begin to determine the most cost effective and future proof EIBC design capable of meeting required coverage and capacity needs for today and in the years to come.
Comprehensive Site Survey and Network Designs
Each design by Wireless Information Networks RF Engineers is unique due to the requirements set by our clients and the carriers. Each project has a comprehensive Site Survey & Network Design (SSND) which consists of the following elements:

Sample Propagation Model Floor Plan
Complete Radio Frequency Analysis
- Examines the existing carrier frequencies inside and outside of the building.
Physical Site Analysis
- Determine the potential and existing RF barriers within the building.
- Identifies the areas where cellular coverage will be critical to support the everyday operational functions of the enterprise.
Data Collection
- Over 14,000 spectrum readings per floor and per technology (i.e. 700MHz, 850MHz, 1900 MHz, 1700 MHz) are collected and analyzed by WIN’s RF Engineers.
- Design is based off data analysis presented to the carriers for approval.
Current Cellular Network Coverage Assessment & Signal Analysis
- Complex cellular propagation tests are taken to account for signal propagation through walls, doors, windows, etc.
- A complete test for sources of interference will be analyzed and documented.
Unique Designs
- All buildings are constructed differently. WIN’s RF Engineering department utilizes industry leading DAS network planning tools and software to ensure our customer’s needs are met in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Project Management
WIN’s Project Management Team will facilitate all aspects of:
- Coordination of agreements between the property and carriers
- Confirming the carrier’s signal source obligation to the project
- Defining milestones
- Detailed communication strategy
- Coordinates each Carrier’s design approval process for use of their frequency
- Carrier negotiation on the client’s behalf for signal source deployment
- Comprehensive project management of the horizontal cable installation and antenna architecture
- Engineering management and propagation control of the cellular signal

Carrier and Vendor Neutrality, Scalability, and Expansion
WIN’s approach for Property Owners, Property Managers & Enterprise Tenants is unique to the marketplace for the following reasons:
- Carrier Neutral/Vendor Neutral Technology - Our solutions provide a flexible alternative to the single carrier infrastructure provided by cellular providers. WIN can offer numerous options of enhancing carrier (single or multi-carrier) frequencies under a neutral host platform.
- Scalability & Expansion - Unlike other proprietary solutions available today, a WIN designed DAS infrastructure is created to allow the client to add services and carrier signals as their user population and service demands increase. The simple addition of “modular” technology within the existing infrastructure hardware makes it cost-effective to make upgrades only when necessary and desired.
