Site Survey and Network Design
A site survey network design is the initial phase of any Enhanced In-Building Cellular Implementation. Due to the physics of RF propagation and the fact that no two locations are the same, it is crucial for a site survey to be performed in the initial stages of designing an Enhanced In-Building Cellular network infrastructure. During the site survey, specific data is collected to determine the RF propagation characteristics, existing signal (if any), building layout, customer requirements, equipment mounting procedures and placement, along with determining the routes for interconnecting the cellular equipment. Through this process, our expert RF engineers can determine the different aspects of each custom solution to best suit the requirements of each client, to determine any foreseeable problems before the deployment is underway. For example, if a resident in a high rise building wants an enhanced cellular signal on the floors that they occupy. During a site survey, WIN’s RF engineers will test for problems that RF obstructions and other considerations capable of compromising the integrity of the cellular signal. The result is a network design created based off of the building analysis to overcome these issues. Performing a site survey drastically saves time and money during the deployment/provisioning stage of that project. Maintenance and Support
Wireless Information Networks offers comprehensive support and maintenance packages. Initially our services come with a 60 day warranty that covers all parts and labor. Once this period expires, additional Service Level Agreements for on-site support along with extended warranties (if applicable) from the hardware manufactures will keep your enhanced cellular network up and running at all times. These packages come in 1, 2, or 3 year intervals. Each contract is created off specific needs and will be priced accordingly. Project Management
WIN offers a wide range of comprehensive project management services specific to the unique requirements of each deployment. Services include:
- Central-point of contact for all internal and external processes.
